Morning Sun Elementary School District offers the rich heritage and tradition of our farming communities and family friendly atmosphere. We serve approximately 124 students in grades PK, K-6 with a student/teacher ratio of 11:1, with a continuous improvement, technology rich, and caring learning environment. We believe in using vigorous and relevant curriculum that fosters higher order thinking skills, innovation through creative problem-solving, and student collaboration, in order to equip students with a growth mindset and the skills needed for tomorrow's world. Once Morning Sun students complete the sixth grade, they have the option to continue their education at Winfield - Mt. Union Community School District (https://wmucsd.org) or Wapello Community Schools
